Happy New Year!!!  Okay, so I’m about three weeks late into the well wishes, but both lives have been exceptionally busy during this time, and I’m finally feeling like I’m getting somewhat back to normal.  The holidays were particularly eventful, and frankly, it was almost like I needed a break from the holiday break if that makes any sense.

In any event, I am particularly excited about 2014 because new years are clean slates to do all of the things that you didn’t do but that you made resolutions to do in the past.  I, for one, am beyond tired of making resolutions which are equal to setting myself up for broken promises (I mean, how many times do I need to promise myself that this will be the year that I will get my flabby butt to the gym… I really should just do it already 🙂 )  So, this year, I’m not going to promise to do anything… I’m just going to do.  I’m going to step out of my comfort zone and stretch myself and just act.

On a related note, one of the actions I’ve been working on this year has been to do things to stretch myself stylistically and through photography.  I was recently accepted into Visionaire Institute, which is a new (and the only) certification program for SL photographers. I am beyond thrilled that I will be starting those courses this week.  And, in exciting news, one of my audition photographs for an SL magazine caught the eye of a designer whose accessories I’ve always liked to wear.  So… I am happy to report that I have my first sponsor – Aris Aris 🙂  In this photo, I am wearing her new release, Affinity, which is a cable knit minidress with a cowl neck.  I feel very Olivia Pope wearing it!  Till next time! ❤
