I’m not sure if this post inspired the photo or the photo inspired the post, but as I was playing around with styling, I had one of those “random thought” moments: Do good guys like bad girls? We all know the adage that many women are attracted to the bad boys that you almost have to sneak past your parents for fear of lengthy lectures of whether they would make a suitable life partner, etc. Personally, I know that I’ve always been attracted to guys with a certain edge – I like them intellectually stimulating, but it sure wouldn’t hurt if they would be totally alpha male on occasion and swing me over their shoulder and cart me off into the sunset. I just get shivers thinking about it. 🙂

But, I wonder whether this works in the reverse? No, I’m not suggesting that a man wants to be hauled over the shoulder. I am wondering if the “good boys” – you know, the ones that would probably have their Eagle Scout badge and would be the perfect guy to bring home to your parents – have the same sort of craving for that edginess. I conducted an informal poll of guy friends (though I can’t really say that they are within the “good boy” category), and they seemed to think that yes, a naughty girl was a sexy girl, and that sometimes you are drawn to the things that aren’t necessarily good for you, but the ride makes it worth it.

So, with that in mind, I decided to be a vixen today in ghee’s Black Leather Shred dress that is found exclusively at The Naughty Nitch, which is currently going on now until July 21st. As you can see, the dress has an iridescent cast to it in certain lighting, and can pick up metallic highlights, which nicely compliments the dress’ gold chain in the back. The dress also works well with or without an alpha – for all of you fellow mesh body wearers out there – but, if you decide not to wear an alpha, you should probably bump it up one size.
