Several weeks ago, I sent an IM to my sis and I asked her to describe my style. I personally knew what my style was, but I was just curious whether my perception was matching the “reality.” Without missing a beat, she said, “Casual chic, and even bohemian at times.” That’s why I love my sister… while she can be annoying as little sisters go at times, I can’t deny her perceptive brilliance when it strikes (ILY sissy! ❤ )

But, Bohemian is not just a style of clothes that you wear. It’s a way of being. If you look up the definition of Bohemian, the noun version of the word is defined as “a person who has informal and unconventional social habits, especially an artist or writer.” Bohemians are described as non-conformists, beatniks, and free-spirits. This is probably why I gravitate towards this style the most… conformity makes me itch. Don’t get me wrong, I do my part in behaving as a responsible citizen. But whenever possible, I do like coloring outside of the lines and just going with the flow.
