Lately, I’ve been immersing myself in 80s music as that was the soundtrack of my formative years.  I miss the days when MTV was actually a music video station that you could rock out to 24-7.  And as for the music…(and here’s where I probably sound like one of those old cranky folks that complain about “the crap these kids listen to these days”)… but it seems like most of those songs had meanings.  You could make a mixtape and give it to someone, and in many ways it was better than a love letter.  Now, short of a few artists, I just don’t think today’s music has that same quality.

Anyway, when I was shooting this photograph, I was thinking of someone who is 14000 kilometers away, and wishing he was there to enjoy my new sexy lingerie from Zanze.  This outfit can be found exclusively at this month’s round of The Instruments, which is going on until March 1.
