Hello good people.  Happy Labor Day to those of you in the States.  As promised, I have been completely lazy this weekend and am a bit sad that it has to end tomorrow morning when I return to work.  I keep playing the lottery hoping that one day I will have the good fortune to retire before I am 40.  So far, I keep missing those 5 little numbers… I think it’s a conspiracy!

I had originally intended to do this post for a throwback Thursday of sorts, and I may still try doing that for future Thursdays.  I happened to be organizing my insanely burgeoning inventory last week, and I ran across this oldie but goody hair from Truth, which was one of my favorites to rock when I’m feeling particularly hipster. I decided to drag it out again, and put it with a new three-quarter length sleeve shirt from ArisAris that is HUD controlled for dozens of texture combinations.  I’m also rocking HUD controlled heels from ArisAris and skinny jeans from Mynx.  I have to say that I really dig the fact that more designers are doing HUD controlled options for their textures.  It really allows for you to create a custom look without killing your inventory with multiple versions of the same item.

By the way, I want to give a particular shout out to Neveah Niu of ICONIC, whose sim I shot on for this picture.  One of the things I would like to do more of is shoot on location at stores because quite often, these awesome content creators have not only made fantastic products, but they have mad skills when it comes to sim design.  The ICONIC sim is a great spot for anyone who is looking for location photos.
