Hello good people.  I can’t believe that it is September.  It feels like this year just started, and now we are already less than 4 months away from 2017. And writing that was crazy… 2017.

I remember when I was a kid, movies like Total Recall, Robocop and Terminator used to make me think about the year 2000 as the millennium of the flying cars, computers with AI, robots, and Jetsonesque houses. I remember vividly the nervousness of the impending Y2K and wondering whether we would have money on January 1, 2000 or be able to get gas or food.

Now, it’s 17 years later and although we do have robots and computers with AI, we’re really not any closer to the flying car.  I’m a little bummed about that because sometimes when you have non-driving idiots texting in front of you in gridlocked traffic, it would be so awesome to push a button and either hop over them or maybe even push a button and have some arm come out and boot them off the road.  Okay, so that was a little mean… maybe we’ll just help them park on the side so that they can finish their conversation. 😀

In the spirit of futuristic thoughts, today’s photo was shot on location at the Hangars Liquides sims, which sort of have a Blade Runner feel to them.  Special thanks to my friend Cardy who came up with the idea after seeing my dress from ArisAris.   This new release, which is called Softly, is HUD controlled with multiple different textures.
